Joseph Andrew Logan, Jr. (born April 12, 1893 in Savannah, Georgia) attended Savannah High School and Benedictine College before coming to the Georgia School of Technology in the fall of 1910. A very active student while at Tech, he graduated in 1914 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Logan joined the United States Army after leaving Tech, where he achieved the rank of Colonel.
